Desert trips from Cairo - wanted
Im after recommendations for someone who can lay on a 4x4 daytrip to Wadi Raian/Hitan from Cairo in early August..... Im a bit out of the loop as regards Cairo, and Im not taking a vehicle there myself this time, so Im hoping someone can point me at a reliable tour op who will take me and my g'f from Cairo to Wadi Raian/Hitan for maybe an overnight, maybe a day trip.... anyone in Cairo at the mo?

When?
Sam,
Not home until early August myself so not sure if I can help. As I expect you know, it's a fairly long trip for a day only.
I'll check some contacts. More later

Jamie.... thanks for that You were at NCBIS when I was at MES!! Matt S mentioned you a few years back asking if we knew each other. Wadi Hiten IMHO is do-able in a day but Im quite ok with a 2 day trip - we are in Cairo for 2 1/2 days before heading south for Luxor and felucca etc... if you can rattle any cages with any positive results its good of you and Id pay with
Thanks mate
S

Matt,
Speak to Mariusz of Egyptian Sahara (http://www.egyptian-sahara.com/sahara_t3_401/index.php?id=8&L=1)
I'm off with him to the Gilf for the second time and can recommend him without hesitation.

One of the guys in the HU community is into jeeps and desert trips. Cool guy too. I forget his name though. Just contact the community and he should contact you back.
