Fuel on the way Egypt / Sudan
I am not a biker but since living in Jordan, I am not allowed to drive a Diesel car. Therefore, I would like to collect information on the situation of gas stations in Egypt and Sudan providing either Normal 90 or Super 95 (preferable), leaded or unleaded (preferable):
1.) Egypt: information necessary for the Western oasis road (Bahariya, Farafra, Dakhla, Kharga, Luxor)
2.) Sudan: information necessary for the way from Wadi Halfa (would fill up in Assuan) via Dongola, Karima, Atbara, Meroe, Shendi, Khartoum, Wad Medani, Gedaref, Gallabat plus Gedaref, Kassala, Suakin, Port Sudan.
Since this thread might help others as well, information on other routes (like the direct road from Wadi Halfa to Karima) would be welcome, too!
It seems that with Chinese construction of new tarmac roads and Nile bridges, the situation of gas stations has also greatly improved in recent years.
Thanks for all infos!
