Mauri - Mali - Mauri single or multiple entry visa
I plan to drive through Mor - Mauri - Mali - Mauri - Mor. I will get a Mauri visa in Rabat, Morocco. Is this usually a single entry visa or if it is still valid, would it cover the return trip through Mauri as well. If not, where is in Mali is the Mauri visa available?
thanks
Reinhard

Hi,
It's easier if you buy a multiple entry visa for Mauritania. You can do that in Rabat. Or, alternatively, get the temporary visa at the Mauritanian border, and then in Nouakchott, at the police station (N 18.0903000 E-15.9709500; coordinates in decimal degrees), ask for a multiple-entry visa.
If you are really interested in getting a single-entry visa for Mauritania, then in Bamako go to the Mauritanian embassy and buy another entry visa. Don't have the coordinates for the embassy, but it is located in a boulevard on the northern bank of the Niger river, on the north-eastern exit of Bamako, along the river bank.
Cheers,
José

Hi Jose,
many thanks. I've sisnce learnt that it might be possible to get a visa for Mauritania in London - which will be easier as I won't have to hang around waiting for it in Morocco. I'll try to get the multiple entry one.
regards
Reinhard

Thanks for the correction Bertrand, although the "-" before the coordinate indicates that it is to the west of Greenwhich. Anyway, its easier to read W15.9709500 instead of E-15.9709500.
