Mauri visa in London
Forwarded from the Plymouth-Dakar list, London seems to be a hassle-free place to get your visa:
Yep - Just take the forms down filled out and 2 passport photo's. (I
actually forgot the passport photo's, but the chap at the embassy just
photocopied the ones in our passport)
I also
asked
about whether a carnet is required and he advised it would be
useful.........which I took to mean as optional.
The embassy is about 5 minutes walk from Bond Street tube, and has a
very
nice receptionist.

I was down in London last week so picked up our Visa's from the
Mauritanian
Embassy. Took about 45 minutes to get them sorted.
If you go down to the Embassy I would recommend taking the correct
cash. I
gave the guy £90 for 2 Visa's, and struggled getting £6 change from
them.
Didn't even get offered a Ferrero Rocher...
