mauritania visa, bruxelles
Jan-6-2009:
Visited the Mauritanian Ambassy in Brussels this morning, new prices and conditions for 2009 (actually, they said since yesterday).
-Transit: 46,88 Euros
-Court séjour: 62,50 Euros
-Long séjour avec multiples entrées: 93,75 Euros
-Délai d'obtention: 72h
A new form has to be used (for the moment downloadable here), filled in twice, 2 photo's and a copy of your flight-ticket/-reservation or a look at your carnet de passage (for cars, motocycles?).
Seems they almost doubled the prices, don't be too surprised if this also counts at other locations (Paris, Rabat, border, etc).
cheers,
BTW - openinghours: Lundi au Vendredi, 9h30 à 13h30
- adress: 6, Avenue de la Colombie, B-1000 Bruxelles
- tel: 02.672.47.47/02.672.18.02

hey,
may as well add this here, then. I'm just about to collect mine here.
Mauritania Embassy in Bamako is near the Chinese Embassy on Rue Kolikoro (spelling could be wrong). 4 photos, 1 form to fill, and leave your passport. Pick up next day, and hand over CFA 11,000.
You cannot get your visa at the border (Nioro), though I only visited this border in the south. They said there were changes due to the 'recent situation'.
NOTE: they didn't get the memo until this morning, prices doubled here. a transit visa CFA 20,000
cheers,
Doug

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
