Meet-up to Morocco

There seems to be a lot of people travelling to Morocco n October. Just wondering if anyone will be travelling at the same time as ourselves, from Plymouth to Santander on 10th october, actually sailing to Morocco probably on the 12th.

If so, might be nice for a bit of company through Spain. And to be honest, we might also pick up more info about our trip eg places to stay or getting into Morocco itself, from someone who's done it all before.

Just a thought, but if you're interested, let me know.

Cheers.
Colin.

I,m stationary in Morocco at the moment, will be just outside Marracech for about the next week. It;s a good clean campsite with a pool on the Northern outskirts of Marrakech. The campsite won,t be in your guidebook as it,s new. If you follow the Casablanca road in to Marrakech, you will see signs for a campsite. IT IS NOT THAT ONE! But instead, literally 1 or 2 kms further into town, on the right, (after the police check point -which you won,t get stopped at) is the road to this one. Cqlled Relaxis de Marrakech, it has little blue signs with gold writing directing you around past the `SANGHO` club - it,s 200 meters from there. I,ll be the one sat by the pool!

Chris

PS If you see Hotel Ibis on the right, youùve gone about 2k too far. Do a u turn at the roundabout and you should see a brown sign at the junction on the way back.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
