Hi guys, I viewed that site months ago and now can't. For your information it was a BMW 1200GS trip round Morocco. Mostly offroad. The page showed a profile of altitude, a ribbon on a map showing where on that day's section you viewed-a day at time. A choice of still pics could be selected and the postion on the line was shown as well as on the altitude stip. A menu on the page allowed data to be viewed such as distances and others I forget, though dialogue was one. All in all a very original, clear and interesting not to forget creative way to show the trip. 10 for style. 10 for content. 4 for choice of bike! Linzi.

Interesting, mine comes up with waving fields of daisies for a few seconds.... but then fades to what can only be described as 'grey'

Ok amigos,
a new security policy adopted by adobe flash caused the "grey screen only" error...
But...
I fixed the issue (I know it took some time but hey, I am not a pro), so the website is shown in a correct way now.
Have fun all and let me know what you think.
Demito
PS Still working on the English translations for the South America trip though... But the piccies say a lot already. There's more to come!
PPS oh yes the URL is: i-spog --- explore my trip

Demito,
Finally got to see your Morrocan trip, very nice pictures. The wide angle pictures in the mountains give a very good perspective of how big the Sahara really is. What type of camera equipment did you use for this trip. Do you plan to add audio to your trip eventually.

Blank screens? - not here...!
Hi Demito
Congratulations, terrific show, puts all my old trip reports in the shade.
No blank screens here. Windows XP, French broadband connection.
It all came up... and stayed up all evening.
This beats Television any day
Regards

I used my old reliable Canon 300D, not the best camera around but still going strong after numerous falls and all them vibrations...
Apart from background music which is already available (click the play button at the bottom of the page and you wil hear some nice tunes), I do not plan to add any other sound/voice overlay...

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
