Question Morocco - trailering bike/quad

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had any info on taking bikes into morocco on a trailer/in the back of a pickup truck?

I'm thinking about taking a pickup with a road legal/plated quad bike in the back of it into Morocco later this year with a buddy. Both the truck and the quad are registered in my name. We're going to go down to the south and play in the dunes - then head across M6/M7.

So, my questions are:

- if you bring a quad/bike on the back of another vehicle (I wonder if this is the same as on a trailer) - do you have to include both on your passport?
- is there any issue one person bringing two vehicles in at once on their passport?

Has anyone got any similar experiences - e.g. bringing in trail bikes?

No problem with one person bringing in more than one vehicle, I've brought in an XR400 on the back of a Navara Outlaw before. No difference if it's a trailer, and some people transport a truck load of bikes at once.

You need a V5 log book (carte gris in French) for each vehicle and if the log book isn't in your name you need a letter of authorisation from the registered keeper.

Each vehicle needs a declaration of temporary importation (see the information in the knowledgebase linked in my signature) but what tends to happen is the bike details are added to the vehicle details so that it's two (or more) vehicles on one form.
