Only two days in Morocco

Next year, I plan a trip to the South of Spain and I do have a few days to make a short trip to Morocco. (Tanger via Tarifa ) so I am sorting out the options now.
I have a few questions:

Has anyone experience with motorcycles on FRS ferries ?

How long does it normaly take to get from the ferry, past customs, into Tanger and vice versa ?

What can I do in two full days in Morocco, starting in or around Tanger ?
I will be on my old GoldWing GL1200 so no "desert racing"

Is there a bike friendly hotel or camping not to (max 100 km) far from Tanger ?

Seem to remember it taking about half an hour to get through 'customs' at Tangiers, efficient ferry service. I would think about a loop from Almeria/Melilla (overnight ferry) over Rif mountains (tarmac) and coming back through Tangiers. Camping/hostels everywhere-ish.

It's been a while, but there were plenty of places to stay on the coast road. South of Lixus, if you come in via Tangiers. The coast road is tarmac.

Hi
you can also cross from algeciras to Ceuta, it seems it more fast also for workpaper at the border.
Two days it's very short
You can visit Chefchaouen, typical medina, ( hassle some time with false guide ), south also Volubilis ( romain ruin ), spend a night in Fes or Meknes
And return ,Asilah in front of the ocean I was told it friendly but never went

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
