Peter and Sue Morocco Route
Hi Peter and Sue.
It was really good to meet up with you in Dent and to hear your tales of Morocco. Hope you got home alright. I was riding through a blizzard for the last 10 miles! As you probably gathered there was no chance of me remembering all the place names you mentioned but I'd really appreciate you taking the time to jot down on here the route you took as it sounds ideal for the trip we have planned later this year.
Many Thanks
Paul

Re Morocco route
Hi Paul ,glad you enjoyed the weekend! For the route ,ferry from algeciras to ceuta-tetouan-chefchaouen-ouezzane-fes-ifrane-tinadhite-midelt-er rachidia-erfoud (dunes at erg chebbi near merzouga to the south)-tinejdad-tinerhir (todra gorge)-ouarzazate (draa valley to zagora)-marrakech (via tizi n tichka pass)-asni-taroudant (via tizi n test)worth noting road not sealed on descent in november 2005 ,big drops,no barriers,-agadir-essaouira-casablanca-rabat-meknes-moulay idriss and north back to ceuta. I think this gives a good idea of what morocco has to offer, mountains desert and coast.Personally I have been three times and I enjoy the desert and mountains best, you can also travel by trails (of varying difficulty)most places. One you might like to try goes from erfoud to erg chebbi which is flat and easy and is better than arriving at the dunes by tarmac. If you want any more info about hotels places worth seeing etc you can get me on 07802367949 cheers peter

Thanks very much for this. I'll go through it again tonight with a map in front of me.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
