There is something on sahara-info.ch about this. It goes like this; Some people were in Amguid about a year ago and after asking for about ten minutes they met a kind of "village chief" who took them to a house-"looking at Amguid from the north, the first street on the left, the first building on the right which has a big metal door". Inside it was filled to the roof with Total fuel barrels, both with petrol and diesel. Tough haggling over the price.
Some other people got 20 litres and other people were asked by the police if they had enough fuel both in Amguid and in the military checkpoint to the north of Amguid.
