The main thing is that I am from Argentina... and there is a HUGE difference in flight price getting form here to Bamako or for example MArrakesh.. for example..
Just thinking about going from Argentina to Marrakesh, stayiing there some days ... get a plane to Bamako..
Has Bamako an Airport? Don´t know how much are the planes??
Many thanks to the infromation about the prize of the hotels! 10 to 30 dollars is good information!

Bamako has an airport. I guess you will have to fly to a proper airport hubb such as Heathrow London, Spain or Amsterdam Holland then to Bamako?? I can't imagine a direct flight from your place to Marrakech.
Marrakech is quite a big tourist place and i can't imagine it will hold much interest for you.. Having said that, i always enjoy it there.

Haha...Of course. The last time i flew was when Gadarfi was in charge. Bamako to Tripoli then Tripoli to London. I guess the airline which was owned by his son is not around anymore!!!

There are flights from Dakar to Bamako which might be a bit easier to get to than Marrakech.
There used to be a train from Dakar to Bamako which, when I took it a couple of times years ago, was an "interesting" couple of days. Pic below. Great food btw.
The route stopped running a couple of years ago but local trains still run over parts of the line. Depending on how quickly you need to get to Mali you could probably still do it in bits, using "buses" to bridge the gap.
Trains and buses are a great way to meet people if that's what you're going for.
