Sahara Trip Reports Wanted.
Sahara Trip Reports Wanted.
I have been instructed to collect some Saharan trip reports similar to the 400 or so trip reports I have on my Adventure Motorbiking Website and featured in my current AM Handbook.
If I get enough to have a choice, the best Saharan reports will be published in the next edition of Sahara Overland - due Spring 2004.
They are fun to read and practically useful. If published you'll get a free copy of the new edition (or any Trailblazer guidebook excluding BAM or Malta by Rail).
So, please fill out the form at:
http://www.sahara-overland.com/tripreport
if you're happy to have it published and get a free copy.
Reports on independent travels, fly-in tours, cameling or whatever are all welcome - one report per trip, multiple reports no probs.
Thanks
Chris S
btw - "Desert Riders - the 53-min desert biking vid in Algeria and Niger is out on Friday to cherish and own - from fifteen quid

DVD in a week or 2 once I've worked out what it is.
Dez Driving (4x4) is still planned for Billing - mid July.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
