Super, Essence, 92RON - 97RON leaded
Perhaps this question has passed this forum quite a few times, sorry for that. I am driving from Marocco via Mauritania, Mali, Senegal to Gambia. I am driving with a Peugeot 605 2WD ('93), unfortunately driving on petrol (not on the widely available diesel). In Europe I am used to fill it up with unleaded Euro 95. I am wondering if its any harmful when I fill it up with leaded fuel as that is only available in the countries south of Marocco (that means the super and essence .... 92RON to 97RON Leaded). Any bad experiences? Is the difference between for example 92RON leaded (essence) and 97RON leaded (super) just the milage?
I am taking the sealed roads as much as possible. In which countries I mentioned could I face problems on the availability of petrol? how much litre reserve petrol (as in jerrycan) should I take?
Thanks a lot,
