***Bump***
I'll be heading across the border around 6:00, and should be easily found by mobile (360 223-0132)....or by checking the dead ends and one-way streets for a terminally confused, middle-aged Yank. I'll ride a black V-strom if the weather looks stable, a grey Caravan with a lot of roof racks otherwise.
Don't know anything about The Keg, but I can find Granville Island and ought to manage ok from there. I guess unless someone suggests an alternate way of connecting on-site I'll bring a bunch of maps and carry them conspicuously.
Looking forward to it!
Mark

Hi Guys and a big thank you for taking part in a terrific meeting of minds Canadian, US, South African and Brit in conducting with international enthusiasm a deep and searching probe into the mystical properties hitherto not associated with Canadian , only now have I regained sufficient control of my nervous system to hit the xorrect keys of my maptop. Travel information and tales of daring do were free flowing with the champion story of this HU mini-meeting, as far as the two Brits were concerned, was Tom's tale of riding his bike on ice roads of the far north, something I for one will not be attempting on this trip to Alaska or indeed on any other trip. Once again, thank you, not only for the info imparted but also for giving me yet another great memory to store away against the dark days when I am no longer able to travel. Ride safe.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
