help/adres needed somewhere between LA, San Diego, mexico?!!???
We are on the road now for about 8 weeks in the US on a KLR and heading for mexico soon, staying in venice for the moment.
I need to order a chain and sprockets from happy trail and need an adres on the way where i can deliver those objects, since it takes more than a week deliver time.
can anyone help me out with an adres i could use and pick up the parts?
or where to get them for the same price as happy? around a 100 bucks, here in LA they charge 250...
Thanks!!!
Stijn

Did you check out the store of Chaparral Motorsports, in San Bernardino ? They are huge , and prices are reasonable. $100 for a chain AND sprocket sound s kind of low- may be getting a fast wearing set.
If you buy in person you can catch such things and not feel ripped off. Also the shipping costs will add to the price, plus the hassel of finding a place to send it to and asociated expenses.

Have you asked on Adventure Rider Motorcycle Forum Loads of Americans on there, so someone is bound to live on your route.

Lunapix- another possible way, if using DHL, is to instruct them to keep the parcel at their office until collected by you and you give your passport number to secure it-
You'll benefit by knowing it's more secure and easier to find - if there is one that is-

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
