Montreal Buddy
Hi, I just arrived to Montreal a year ago and I got a job and a flat to live and I was waiting for the summer to get a bike and ride all along Canada..... and NO.
Result in this side of the country the authorities don't exchange your bike license, even with 20 years of experience riding around the world, and you have to do all the tests (at least you don't have to wait all the time) So i did and I fail the last one.
But I bought the bike.
Now I have to wait 2 months for the next test and I have my bike bored in a garage and me craving for take it to the road.
I can ride but looks like I need a buddy with more than 2 years of license.
So If there is anyone who likes to ride in little roads and get lost in tracks and forests and wants to babysit an old rider that can't ride alone, by now, please give me a shout.
I live in Verdun (for some still Montreal) the bike is a R1200GS, still trap in the dealer but I have a friend with a Harley that is happy to escort me for that event.
Many many thanks!
Carlos
