Trip Plan around USA-Canada
Hi:
I will like to make a plan for traveling around USA and some southern Canadien cities.
Maybe starting at Houston, then all the way up eastern coast cities then Quebec and other Canada nice places, then come down from Washington state to San Diego.
Has anybody try this, can you give me some tips?
Thanks

Hi! MOROCycler
I haven't done exactly what you are asking for but I'm on a trip in the opposite direction.
Houston - San Diego - Washington - East Coast (via some southern Canadian states) - down the eastern coast.
When are you leaving? Perhaps we can exchange information and tips

Thomas,
I am looking to do a similar trip as you though starting from Dallas around late June (it is now last week of May - 2003).
Would like to correspond as I am in the planning (rush)stage at the moment including buying the bike (BMW 1150 RT). Targeting 2+ months for the trip.
Any tips/issues/concerns you faced regarding planning, packing, border crossing (documentation issues), places to stay away from, etc..
Thanks,
Ken

Of course I'll share with you what I have learnt during my trip but I think it's of no interest to the others so contact med directly.

Sorry, it's a bit late but I just found your post. In the summer of 2002, I flew my bike out to Vancouver and rode across the US through San Francisco, Yosemite, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Tucson, Nogales, Dallas, Memphis, Tennessee, Washington DC, New York, Boston, Niagara and Toronto. The whole story is on http://communities.msn.co.uk/USCoast...rcycleTrip2002
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you want any further information.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
