Biking clubs in Japan
Hello,
I'm heading to Japan tomorrow (8th Aug'13) from Sth Korea and wondered if anyone knows of any bike clubs over there.
I've emailed/facebooked a few today, but would appreciate any others people have firsthand knowledge of. I'll be touring around Japan for up to 3 weeks and plan on going all over.
Be good to hear from anyone there at the same time too.

Cheers

Bruce hi there and welcome to the "land-of-the-not-always-rising-sun"
Have you tried the Gaijin Riders site?
Lots of foreign bikers there, spread all over Japan
You will most definitely find lots of contacts and help there, especially with the right now on-going summer vacation.
Here is the website: http://www.gaijinriders.com/forum.php

Hi Klaus,
Thanks very much for the info mate, much appreciated. I'll drop them a line and see if we can meet up at some point.
Currently down in Hiroshima and looking to head up to Osaka and Hamamatsu in the next few days. Got to be in Tokyo from the 19th, but apart from that I'm just going to see where the wind takes me!
I've tried everywhere but it doesn't seem possible to buy a pay-as-you-go SIM card here? The wifi seems near on impossible to connect to for free too, even at the Mc'Donalds? That's ALWAYS reliable, but not in Japan?
If you fancy meeting up my mobile is +44(0)7872983998
Cheers for now, and thanks again bud.
Bruce

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
