Exclamation Eastern Europe to Central Asia and back

Hi all. Just a quick hi and a place to get my thoughts together and, hopefully, get some sane insights on the road ahead of me.
I am currently polishing the last details of my planned journey for this summer, as the start date is 1 June (yea, 2 more weeks to go, scary as f...).
My plan is to follow the route from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1JN...NH&usp=sharing - or something like it, since I know I will need to change while on the go.
Visas are almost sorted, I'm still waiting for the Turkmenistan transit visa (if I cannot get it, I'll detour via Aktau and Beyneu) and the Kyrgyzstan visa I'm planning to get while in Baku.
The entire route should go trough: Romania (my home country), Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, back to Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan (or Kazakhstan), Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia, Russia again, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria and back home again. I do hope that I will be able to get back in 3 month time, as that's about all the time that I have available now.
The bike is a Suzuki V-Strom DL650 from 2010, with Heidenau K60 Scout tires. Yes, not the best bike for the planned route, but definitely not the worst either. Since I have very little experience riding off-road, this will be my "initiation rite of passage" and I'll be able to pull in through, somehow .
Well, that's about it, I'll try to update this topic as I go along and please, please, hit me with any hints, suggestions and advice that you have (or have the time to do it). I am currently going through other topics around, to get as much information as I can under my belt before I leave.
Thanks a lot the info already here and, in advance, for any advice that you are willing to share.
Good roads to anyone.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
