importing into Russia to sell
I have arrived into Moscow, and i am looking at selling my bike here. I imported it into the country on a temporary importation document.
Does anyone know or has done, change this into an importation?
im not too sure how to go about that. I just want to make sure my name is cleared so that i can enter Russia again for my next adventure.

Yes. It is legally possible. You should find a buyer for the motorbike. Remember the final cost in Russia will be your price + 30%. You must exchange the temporary import for permanent import and pay over 30%. It is not so easy and will take you a lot of time. First of all you should find a buyer who knows the custom procedures. After that you should go to Moscow custom office and draw up a papers. What is the motorbike you have? Model, year, etc?

I have a Honda XR 250 L.
2004 model
with a 14L baja tank
comes with some spare parts and pannier racks
I am looking for around $2000 with only my temporary paper work. i think this is a good deal... I have a couple of lower offers, which i havent accepted yet as, i have only putit on the market yesterday!.
I want the buyer to pay for the import tax as i can not afford to do so.
Does the goverment tax depend on the purchase price or the value of the bike? Because if they only go the the purchase price, then maybe i could afford it.

The tax depend on the value of the bike? They will look at the catalog. I have asked my friend in Moscow. He have an interest. Tell me where and when you can show the bike? Do you speak russian?
