Nagorno-Karabakh - photos/movies deleted by police

I´ve just seen a travel report on youtube, where a motorcycle traveller says, police in Nagorno-Karabakh deleted his camera footage at the exit of the "country".

Anybody here, who had simular experiences?

Regards

Panny

Would you care to link the travel report?

Hi, I was 5 months ago with my motorcycle and I did not have any kind of problem in Nagorno. They have their peculiar way of making the visa but nothing more.
In my case the police of the South border, even allowed me to take photographs at the border crossing

In 2014 I spent over a week in Nagorno-Karabakh, drove all over, crossed the 'border' with Armenia in 4 different places, drove along the front line, visited Agdam, Fuzuli and several other destroyed Azerbaijani cities, drove along the Iranian border and had no trouble at all.

Things did heat up a bit in 2016 so perhaps the authorities got stricter...

I did take the precaution of backing up and hiding my pictures though.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
