Novosibirsk bike shop
Hello, hope someone can help.
I need to know the location of a bike shop in Novosibirsk. I need to get a re-bore and new piston fitted to my XT600E.
Can anyone give an address or GPS co-ordinates? Does anyone have experience of using a shop there and whether they are any good?
I've been told about nbs motor, anyone have address or other information on them?
Thanks!

I know there are many bike shops in Novosibirsk , since I went to loads of them , but they mostly sell clothing and a few of them tyres..but very few mechanics.
The biggest shop was near the power plant , (thats as far as I know for the address) a local biker should show it to you if you ask nicely like I did.
a rebore is a pretty big job...
If you can limp to Irkusk there is the bikers club and stass ought to be able to tell you where the big workshop for bikers is , its 1900 km though.
Also if you can limp to Ulan Baatar a total of 2700km there is a local mechanic who is taking an xt600 apart. Or you can get parts here shipped ery quickly via DHL 2 days inc customs vs 2 weeks for anywhere non moscow, unfortunately for you David Lambeth who has the parts in his lockup is on his hols for the next 3 weeks so you may well be stuck.

im trying to find the address for you, The shop is called NBS Motor (in English translation). It is a bit out of town, by the power plant.
I met a guy there called Andrey Anderson, who speaks English. If you do not have any luck on finding the shop on your own you could try emailing him on vf750(at)mail(dot)ru.
I just found their web site
Ìîòîöèêëû, ìîòîöèêëû Ìîñêâà, ìîòîöèêëû èç ßïîíèè - ÍÁÑìîòîð
they have a really good mechanic and shop. Andrey was amazing and really helped me out when I had a broken rocker. Parts sent from Moscow will take ages.
Good Luck - its the best place until Irkutsk then Vladivostok.

Hello, I contacted him for a shock issue. He gave me an address but can't find it.
Do you have a GPS coordinate?
is it Novosib Mechanic Dima #45 on the waypoints you provide?
Thanks to you
Damien
