Expedition Mitsubishi L300 4WD for sale in Central America

Hi,
as we are slightly finishing our expedition, we are looking for
a new owner of our expedition vehicle. It is a left-hand drive
Mitsubishi L300 (also called Delica) 4WD with pop-up roof.
Built in 1988 so with no electronics, all-mechanical very
durable car. Until now we did not have any serious technical
problem with the car. 4WD + gear reduction took us through all
bad roads. It is a Japan car so you can find plenty of spare
parts anywhere in South America.
It is a van so do not expect too much space, but the interior
is very smartly designed with focus to details. The vehicle is
confortable for two people to live and travel for a long time.
Good point is that in that car you do not look like a rich
gringo and you are not in the center of (thief) attraction
(most people think that we are local shared taxi "colectivo"
and waving to us:-).
We are planning to travel until November 2012 and we would like
to finish our journey in Central America, so we prefer to sell
it there, but all is flexible.

More details on our blog:
Čundr de América: Expediční vozidlo
It is in Czech but you can download detailed technical description in English from there.

Thanks for all reasonable offers!

Hi there Juris,

we are looking for a very similar vehicle that you just sold. Would you be able to provide a guide for how much you sold it for?

Cheers
Mark

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
