Howling Moon 4 man roof tent for sale
This tent has now gone to a new home and is no longer available.
----------------------------
Roof tent for sale. We bought an expedition equipped vehicle that had been used by a family of 4 and we're downsizing. Nothing wrong with the tent, pretty good condition. Has been used for one UK - SA trip.
Worth approx £2100 new, ideally we'd like to cover the cost of our new 2 man with the sale of this tent, so £1200 is the asking price.
The tent has been removed from the vehicle and it currently being looked after by Footloose in Peterborough.
They will fit the tent to your vehicle if you wish.

There appears to be a distinct lack of interest... so any offers?
We can afford to drop the price slightly if it means getting it sold, £1100? Good sturdy tent! Should probably add that it's the 2.4x2.4m. Plenty of space for table, chairs and cooking in the side awning.

Hi Will,
could you direct me to some more useful photos?
what is the maximum height that that 'skirt' would drop down? ie. how high could the roof rack be before the screen which drops down to the ground fails to reach the ground properly.
Can you give me the dimesnions when closed?
also what is the mounting arrangement?
information is scarce on the howling moon website.
thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick,
There are some dimensions on this page for the open and packed sizes as well as weight.
Howling Moon - Rooftop and Trailer Tents - Tourer
I'll track down and upload some more photos tonight, although we haven't got that many.
The LC in the previous pic has got raised suspension, but as you can see from the bottom of the size awning, you prob wouldn't want it much higher. I'll measure our rack height tonight to double check.

Our rack is 196cm off the ground with the vehicle loaded, as it would have been in these pics. What do you mean by the mounting arrangement? More pics below, I'm afraid we don't have many!
Hope this helps.
