Looking for vehicle for Aug 2010
Hi all
Looking for a 4WD or reliable camper van to travel Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and maybe Brazil starting in Aug 2010. First stop is preferably Peru. Looking for something economical, reliable and relatively cheap (isn't everyone).
Let me know if anyone is planning on finishing a trip around that time or will have a vehicle for sale. Or any tips on what sites I can find one....

VW van
Hey Craig my girlfriend and I will be finishing our trip in the begining of Aug. and will be selling our 86 VW transporter. It is camperised and comes with everything you need: coleman stove, 11 lbs propane tank, cooking supplies, table, cooler, power box, roof rack, two spare tires,tools, two VW repair manuals. It's manual transmission, 2wd, 245, 000 kms on original motor, purchased in Vancouver B.C. She has been a great and reliable van on this trip.We've done about 25,000 kms on this trip.We are asking 4000 dollars but are open to offers. We will be finishing our trip in Buenos Aires Argentina. just saw you were looking for a van. A friend of mine, from BC canada will be selling is VW in Argentina ... in august.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
