Mercedes 708D, camper, in Santa Catarina, Brazil, chilean plates

For Sale:

Mercedes 708D camper

I bought this camper as a 20 seater bus out of daily use 3 years ago in Casablanca, Chile.
we converted it into a camper and I have been on a few trips in Chile and
at the moment I am in Brazil for the second time.
its a 1990 with the famous 80hp 3.5L 4 cylinder Mercedes Diesel engine.
I didn't have any problems on my 3300km trip to Brazil 2 weeks ago, the engine was
only completely overhauled just before this trip.
I would say she has over 800.000km on the clock, but is now ready for many more trips around south america.
The bus comes with two new front tires (2 weeks on the bus) one brand new spare and 3 more used tires, 2 of them with lots of life left on them. (2 on rims, 2 without rims)

we fitted:
a bed, 200x130cm with lots of storage underneath.
Bench and table that makes another bed, 180x90cm
Big solar panel (100W) on the roof with a few saparate car batteries and a 300W inverter.
All sockets can be switched over from external 220V to inverter use with one switch.
There is a 8L gas boiler with 140L of fresh water and a 3.1bar surflow pump installed.
The gas boiler works great for a nice hot shower with lots of pressure.
Kitchen has a sink, gas cooker and a fridge with lots of starage space underneath.
Fridge works on 220V, Gas and 12V.
3 Diesel tanks fitted: 90L, 60L, 40L
I also fitted a towbar since I am always traveling with my bike in the trailer.

no powersteering, no air con.

If you are seriously interested I am happy to answer all quistions and send pictures.

I can meet you somwhere beween Sao Paulo, Iguazu or Uruguay
with 1/4 paid up front and Diesel costs included.

€6500 (or US$, Real, peso chileno)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
