For Sale Overland ready 1996 Landcruiser 80 in UK
Hi. A customer of mine is selling his 1995 (not 1996) 24 valve 4.2 Turbo Diesel 80.
The vehicle is here (in Derbyshire) with me. He's out of the country!
It's just (end October 2009) passed it's MOT and is ready to go!
Eric (my customer) did a three year 80,000 mile trip through Africa with this vehicle. It's now on 193,000 miles.
It's in good shape and goes really well.
The kit is has,
Eezi Awn tent
Hannibal roof rack
Hannibal awning
2 x spare wheels
4 new-ish road tyres
Toyota steel wheels
OME HD springs and shocks
OME steering damper
150 litre extra fuel tank
Rear draw system
Engle fridge
Tuffy cubby box
floor safe
ARB bull bar
Safari Snorkel
National Luna split charge system
customer made cargo guard
Hella spot lights
Mantec sand tracks
Twine heat exchanger
security tinted windows
shovel
fire extinguisher
seat covers
extra fuel filter
It also comes with plenty of bits and pieces, like Specter jerry cans, a Specter water jerry can, some spare parts, some tools and recover equipment etc..
There are one or two little things that need doing to it, like
shovel mounting bracket broken
second fuel tank gauge not working
rev counter not working
Air con not working
wheel arch extensions broken off!
It's due for a service and one CV joint could do with being replaced.
Because the vehicle was out of the country for so long it had to be 'exported', this means that it need to be reregistered by the new owner. This is very easy to do, you just need insurance, the MOT and you have to pay to tax it for one year.
Please call me Matt Savage on 01629 55855 or e-mail sales@mattsavage.com
price £10,000
Cheers,
Matt
PS, It's actualy a 1995, not 1996.

Hi Knut. It's good to her from you. You could buy it now then pay me £5 per week to store it here?!
But be quick, there has been a lot of interest in it now.
All the best,
Matt

As a coffee snob who grinds his own every morning, the thought of anyone being reduced to Nescafe Cappuccino tugged at my heart strings!
It certainly does sound like a lot of vehicle for the money, especially when you cost in all the accessories. Why couldn't it have been available this time 3 1/2 years ago, when I was planning my own trip in an 80? Darn!
Good luck selling it. Maybe some pictures would stir up a bit of interest?
