Kitesurfing:
I'm a keen kitesurfer, and have some kit with me. I'm happy to negotiate a price for any of these separately, or together with the vehicle. If anyone wants to learn, if you buy the vehicle as well I'd be happy to give you a day of lessons weather permitting. Kit is as follows: North Converter twintip kiteboard, North 2008 12m Rebel and 7m Vegas with 2008 bar, North 2012 12m Rebel and 8m Evo with 2012 bar, kitepump (incredibly useful for stoking fires!) and waist harness/wetsuit/booties etc.
Issues:
Other than fairly cosmetic issues (plastic trim around wheel arches shook off and had to be cable tied, exhaust brackets broke and had to be rewelded) I've not had any problems with the car so far. She's been well taken care of, with religious maintenance and oil/filter changes. The only offroading she's done is on this trip, mostly in the Egyptian Western Desert (a week) and the Lake Turkana route from Ethiopia to Kenya. The roof tent was secondhand and has fallen off the roof once(!) so the cover is completely knackered and a corner of the base is buckled, but the tent itself still performs perfectly, including in the recent rain here in Nairobi .
Asking price: 6000 GBP, offers accepted.
Feel free to reply/PM with any questions. My plans are flexible, so am happy to try and accommodate things within reason.
I've been terrible at updating my blog, but there are some pictures of the car and the trip:
