sand mats - living near Presteigne, Powy's
Hi, I have a set. purchased after 11 months of our 13 month trip in Mauritania. Sand plates are living near Presteigne, west of Hereford.
I have kept them, but have no massive use for them. Yours for £150 for the two
History, we bought them in Atar, Mauritnaia from local. They got them, as the stories was told from a Dutch overland group. They are proper heavy duty Psp sand plates. We had a 3 tonne plus Landcruiser and would only trust these babies if we got stuck
see pics for more info

Thanks for the replies, Anchor out of stock, as are Leavesleys, and Withams.
@ Alan: I think for £150 yours are aluminium? I'm really after steel but thanks.
Simon.

Don't want to start an arguement.
What's wrong with the GRP ones?
They're lighter, don't bend and can support a fully laden vehicle if used correctly.

LJacksons quoted me £25 each for 4 x 8 foot lengths,(ie £100) but plus £100 for delivery so I'm going to wait 'till I'm passing oop north and drop in as long as they've still got some (forgot to ask what quantity they had!
