Cool Three fully equipt 4x4s in South Africa: Land Cruiser 105 4.2D and Nissan Patrol 4.2D

We have decided to sell our three 4x4:s in South Africa, two Land Cruiser 105 diesel and one Patrol Y61 4.2 diesel

Perfect for an overlander who wants to travel and experience Africa.
Buy a ready turn-key overland 4x4, make your trip of your dreams!
Then pass it along to the next adventurer or keep it to travel each holiday...

The cars is now registered in my name (Swedish citizen) and the insurance etc is cheap.
Safe storaged in Cape Town.

The cars is complete with everything you need, camping chairs and table, gas stove and so on.

We are now using the cars for an overland trip that will be finished by the end of november, after that it's for sale!

We have rebuilt the car thoroughly mechanically, not just "African good" -
but to last with the intention to keep it for life!
Everything that showed even the slightest sign of wear has been rebuilt or replaced.

But unfortunatelly, because of other time consuming project we now decided to sell.

The Land Cruisers are the 105, the heavy duty version of the Landcruiser 100 but with solid frontaxel and 1HZ engine.
1HZ motor = Not much that can go wrong (cast iron head, no turbo, no electronic) and has been around for 25 years in many Land Cruisers.

It's a lot of advantages to use a South African registered car instead of an European car:

1. You don't have to zigzag through the unsafeties in the Arabic countries.
2. Or no need for an expensive shipping of your European car.
3. No need for Carnet de Passage for a lot of Africa countries.
4. Easy to get a valid comprehensive insurance for Africa.

Thumbs up

Or buy all three of them and take over the whole business!

(We're driving one of them and doing tours/renting out seats in the other two, to finance or trips and make a profit and make a living out of our travels)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
