Vehicle Wanted Southern Africa
Hello All, I am an Australian living in Arusha Tanzania not far from the Serengeti & Kilimanjaro. We are thinking of a trip down to Mozambique next year & need a suitable vehicle. We would be interested in meeting any folk coming through this part of the world who may wish to part with their vehicle as opposed to shipping it back from Cape Town. We have a 6 year old daughter so need to cater for the three of us. Would especially be interested in campervans as I have had one before & don't imagine we will be doing too much serious off roading. Happy to collect the vehicle in South Africa after viewing here in Tanzania. Also happy to host travellers coming through, give tips on local attractions.
Regards
Stephen Reynolds

Hi,
We are now in Nairobi so in about one or two weeks we will be at Arusha. You can mail me at simon.verhaeghe@gmail.com
We have vw t3 syncro van. It is fully equiped and the interior is remade a year ago. We are travelling to south africa and are planning to arrive there around end of april. We would like to sell it over there.
This is 4x4 campervan like you wish and it is possible without any problem to sit in it with a 6 year old child :-)

1993 Land Rover Range Rover for sale Harare
Hi there,
I have a Range Rover on Irish plates on a carnet.
It's definitely on the cheaper side because it is far from perfect.
The good:
It is 1993, 2.5 tdi diesel (200 tdi engine) (very reliable and good economy)
New exhaust, hd rear shocks and springs.
Sunroof, lightweight aluminum roof rack, towbar
comes with water and diesel gerry cans, tow strap, gas cylinder and burner, pots and pans, plastic food box, inflatable matress (double) fire extinguisher, spare wheel jack and brace, small braii grill, small selection of tools.
The bad:
Two wheel drive only (tranfer box stuck in 4x4 so I removed the front prop shaft)
hand painted by me in white with a roller.
window tint by me done to a very poor standard but adequate to my needs.
Sterio gone as it was pinched duribg the shipping to durban.
rear passenger doors only openable from inside (easily reachable)
Headlining sagging and dirty (welcome to landrovers)
2 rear body mounts rusty and will need welding
side passenger is the only window that works. (Sunroof also works)
Headlights going rusty inside and should probably be replaced.
The vehicle is in my name and on a carnet. It is not worth shipping home and with 9 months left on the carnet it could be just what you are looking for. ( We would just need to write an afidavit to permit you to travel with it.
Don't be afraid of the welding - I got a shock absorber mounting bracket welded back onto rear axle for $20.
I am looking for about $2500 but am open to offers.
I am in Zambia now but am planning to park the vehicle in Harare, Zimbabwe.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
