Smile Wanted in Europe in Dec: LHD 4x4 Camper
Hi all,
I'm Planning to do an overland trip to snowboard in Siberia, the stans, Georgia and Europe this winter.

Needs:
-RHD
-4x4
-Roof High enough to stand in. I'm 5'9"
-Good insulation, i'll be camping in winter (or ability to add spray insulation if its just a shell)

I'd prefer a finished camper, but I'm open to projects if you have a nice van shell. I've built my own before, but I don't want to spend so much time doing it.

I'd also prefer if it is registered at or under 3,500 kilo so I don't need a special licence in Europe. For the right vehicle I could probably get my CDL in US before I leave.

Vans I'm looking for:
-VW LT 40 4x4
-Iveco Daily 4x4
-Mercedes sprinter 4x4
-Other 4x4 vans/campers.
-I'm considering smaller VW synchro type vans or Misubishi L300. I need space for snowboards and drying wet gear though.

Let me know what you have. My budget is around $10 to $15. I could scrounge together up to $20k for the right rig.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
