Have a word with these guys , its not a common spec vehicle for the uk but they get all the ex government & military stuff, tell them what you want and they may be able to look out for you

Thanks Rich,
Yeah ive put the word out to these guys and several ex-Mod places as well as a few other companies.
I know there are a few batches of new 300Tdi's around in UK,but im looking for something approaching the 15 year mark, so I can bring it over to Canada after its been kitted out.
Cheers

I'd agree with rclafton - if you want an LHD 110 in the UK which has low mileage despite being a few years old, there won't be many - mod-sales in Witham is the most likely source.
However, "low miles" doesn't necessarily mean "lightly used".
If you're based in the UK, it's still worth keeping an eye on the French/Belgian/Dutch equivalents of Autotrader, you might find something within a few hour's drive of a ferry back to the UK.

Thanks Rich,
Yeah im waiting on more details from nene on that 98 110 - though Id prefer to overhaul one myself and know exactly what has/nt been done - and much as I like the new foley 110s 20 grand is steep for a Defender - especially one that I cant bring over straight away.
Im keeping my eyes out for a straight right hooker too, but taking some time to change it to a lhd galv chassis back in the UK isnt (currenty) an option for me this year.
I dont think my folks want any more Rovers sat around on there driveway back home !!!
I might change the 90 to a lhd galv chassis and bring it over - the plan is to head down to SAmerica from here in Canada at some point -though the extra room in a 110 would be nice......especially as im not getting any younger !!!
Cheers
