Hi Guys
I found a brilliant compromise on my recent trip.
I bought a LowePro Orion Trekker backpack which holds my Nikon digital SLR and 2 additional lenses plus other bits and bobs.
What I found is that you can take the padded section out from this bag and it fits into touratech tank bag snugly. What I also did was to put it in a waterproof bag just as an additional safety measure.
This meant I had the best of both worlds, quick easy access to my camera and accessories on the bike.
If I needed to trek anywhere and leave the bike behind or at night to keep the camera safe, I would unroll the Lowepro rucksack and put the camera padding back in, and bobs your uncle you got a backpack.
This was much easier to carry around than the tank bag and took up very little space when rolled up.
Cheers
Julio
