Repair shop/person in Vancouver for KLR650?
Hi All,
My 2003 Kawasaki KLR650C is currently on route from Far Eastern Russia to Vancouver. The bike will go into overwinter storage in Vancouver and I plan to resume my RTW next June. The Russian roads have taken their toll on the bike. Whilst I have the technical ability to make the repairs I don't have the compliment of tools on-board to carry out the repairs and so I wish to seek the services of a repair shop or an individual who is competent in making such repairs.

The main work needed is replacement of the steering head bearings and whilst at that to strip and rebuild the forks. There are some additional minor works also.

Would really appreciate recommendations for someone in the Vancouver area who is competent and priced reasonably for doing these kinds of repairs.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
