Bike mechanic needed in Huaraz or Cusco, Peru please
Hi HUBBers.
Can anybody recommend us a professional, trustworthy motorcycle mechanic in either Huaraz or Cusco, Peru?
Our bikes are 2 x Suzuki DRZ400S. One bike needs valves checked and possibly adjusted, the other needs a new stator installed (a visiting family member is bringing the part down from Canada).
Many thanks

If you found in trouble in Huaraz, you may contact Herbert Weldon at phone or whatsapp +51-943455390 , his email is hewelson5@hotmail.com
I got problem with clutch of my bike Transalp 600, and he had the disks in his warehouse and he fixed. He has a small workshop, bit he is going to move in an other place in short time. He has a lot experience with Honda , Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki and not only and he has a lot of spare parts in his warehouse... Amazing, may be it will be not cheap but for sure he will solve your problem

Sorry to hijack the thread but I need a Honda mechanic to work on my 05 Tornado 250 in Cusco
Any suggestions?

Here are three I'm aware of. Peru is full of good moto mechanics. Your Honda Tornado is very common - I owned one in Peru. You don't need a "Honda mechanic". I was at Peru Moto Tours for route information, and there is a mechanic there. At your motel or wherever you are staying, ask about a good moto mechanic.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
