Santiago:
After looking for hours in search of a workshop we could use, we ended up in this place; amazing!
Plenty of space to work on your bike, lovely people (Dominique there speaks fluent German, English, Spanish and is learning Dutch ;-))

They have very basic tools, but all stuff to swap tyres.
The place is full of BMW's which they rent out, so also for you guys on the big ones: think they can help you out with issues!

Osorno:
Ended up here as I had to change a wheel bearing. There is a SKF dealer in town (somewhere here:S40.57281 W73.11983), and I used the workshop of Motoaventura to swap it myself. Very nice people, lots of tools and a really big workshop. Here they also sell much more clothing... although very expensive. Maybe reaonably priced for Chile, but we were a bit shocked :-)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
