Kenya, Nairobi
If it is of any help, when I lived in Nairobi I had an old BMW ex police bike and this was maintained by a guy called Rick who told me that his GPS co-ordinates were well known by over-land travellers; for this reason I feel confident to post his details. However, I did not keep his number nor have I seen his co-ordinates so here is my memory of where he works:
The guy is located on Miotoni road off Ngong road. There is a sign 'WROE' at the gate next to no. 91 MIOTONI rd, it's about 500/1000 metres from the Ngong/Miotoni junction just after Nairobi Waldorf School.

I left there in 2005 so no idea if Rick is still there. However, if he is I would try him because he has a massive array of vehicles that he repairs. If not he will be the man to tell you where to go. I did have a 4x4 when I lived there but it was maintained through the company, probably at great expense, somewhere on the road to the airport from town.
Paul
ps beware of the dogs before you get out your car.
pps if he is still there send me a PM with his proper details as other people have asked

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
