Looks like a fun trip, love the road markings..
One of my students is from there, he told me that years ago if you got in trouble with the law they would hang you upside down from a cherry tree outside the police station for a few days!
Must go take a look there one day, thanks

You were in the right country with the wrong bikes
Just returned last Thursday from two weeks of trail-riding around the back roads of AL. Brilliant! But a lot easier with light enduros...
Great pics! Thx for sharing.

When we start the 2nd day the route that we saw on the map was tarmac.....
Suddenly from tarmac became to gravel (good gravel road) and we said OK we have on-off bikes so why not....!
But the good gravel road became construction road and we was too far to go back so the only direction was forward...!
I know Varadero its too heavy for trail-riding or bad gravel road BUT im happy because i know how my Dero reacts in those bad road conditions!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
