Some bikers in South East Asia at the moment and the next 3 month?
Hello everybody!
At the moment we are in Bangkok and a few days ago the container with our bikes finally arrived from Vladivostok!
In 2 days we´ll start our South East Asia tour. At first we´ll visit Cambodia. The beach, the famous Angkor Wat and the capital Phnom Penh. Then we´ll follow the Mekong River up to Laos, visiting several places there before we´ll enter the North of Thailand.
Then we´ll go down, crossing Thailand´s south and after that, we´ll visit Malaysia and Indonesia, before we´ll ship our bikes from Timor Leste to the next big goal on our motorbike world trip: Australia.
We´ll spend the next 3 month in South East Asia, so, if some of youcoincidentally are in this area at the moment or in the next time, please contact us, if you want!
We would be happy to meet other travelers or locals!
Many greetings
Bea & Helle
PS: Recently we put our Mongolia travel report and a very nice video about our experiences in this amazing country online!

Hello Bea and Helle. I'm heading up to Alaska from the central US in Mid-June of 2012. Will travel up through Vancouver and eventually to the Arctic Ocean in Alaska. If you stay on schedule, we may meet up along the way. Keep in touch. Love your website.

Hello!
@ nigel_tailyour:
Thank you for the flowers! (this is a German saying, we are not sure, if you use it in English too, but we try it :confused1
@ GSARiderOne:
No, “unfortunately” we are absolutely not in time! Now we are in South East Asia for around 3 month and we are still in the North of Asia. First we planned about 3 month for whole South East Asia! :-)
And first we also planned to stay “only” for around 6 month in Australia but now we decided to stay there maybe for 1 year to travel and to work there to increase our travel fund a little! :-)
But we wish you a very nice travel next year and a lot of great experiences!
And, maybe, we´ll meet us in some other place “on the road”! :-)
Many greetings
Bea & Helle

After 10 month “On the Road” we finally finished the second stage on our motorcycle world trip!
The last months we spend travelling back and forth through trough Southeast Asia and we really enjoyed the time here! We enjoyed relaxed times on the beaches in Thailand, visited the famous temples from Angkor Wat in Cambodia, traveled through the very laid back Laos, enjoyed the smooth roads in Malaysia, spent two days in Singapore (unfortunately without the bikes, too expensive to go to Singapore with it… ) and had an absolutely adventurous time travelling trough Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
But now it´s time to say goodbye to Southeast Asia. After 8 days cleaning our bikes and our equipment with the tooth brush (!!) (thank´s to the Australian quarantine requirements) they are finally in the container!

I was taking a look at your homepage but, maybe it's just me using Safari on an Apple, it didn't work very well. Many times I just get almost empty pages (just a little bit layout, no content). Too bad, I was really looking forward to your pictures.
Anyway, I really wish you all the best on the rest of your trip!

@duive01:
That can be 2 things.
1. our HP is very "big" so if you have a slow internet connection it can take several minutes until the HP is completely loaded. During this time you only see a black screen.
2. our HP is based on "Flash" so you need a Flash-Player on your Apple to load our HP. Normally the Apples have no Flash-Player as a standard programm (like Windows has) but you can download a free Flash-Player in only a few minutes, then it should work!

Hey Guys!
Some of you asked us if we can keep you up to date from every now and then and so, here we are with our first report, currently from a cattle- and cotton farm west of Goondiwindi in the Southwestern Outback of Queensland.
If you are wondering what we are doing here in this freezing cold place (yes, we definitely underestimated the temperatures during the winter time here… *brrrrrr* ), we are working and working and working – actually about 12 to 16 hours a day, 7 days a week and this for the next 3 month to refill our travel fund!
You don’t believe us? Hera is the photographic evidence!
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.360373904034931.79527.115955945143396&type= 1
We´ll continue travelling in the End of September, heading up to Cairns and start our trip down the East coast from there in the Beginning of October!
And you can believe us, we are REALLY looking forward to be on the road again!
Cheers from the “labor camp”

Hello all together!
Some of you may remember us, but some probably will never have heard from us before… unfortunately, our last update in this blog is quite a while ago, too…
So we thought that the time has home to send a sign of live. Yes, we are still alive and yes, we are still “on the road”. And after nearly 2 years of traveling around the world, luckily there is still no end in sight!
A couple of days ago our motorcycles and we arrived back from „the island“, in our case, we shipped back from beautiful Tasmania to the Australian main land. At the moment we are sitting in Melbourne, organizing some paperwork and stuff like that before we´ll hit the road again in the beginning of next week. Our next destination? Westwards!
In the last almost 2 years since we are on our motorcycle travel around the world, a lot has happened! We rode our bikes through Eastern Europe, East Asia and Southeast Asia. Now we are traveling through Down Under where we´ll stay until the end of this year and then… heading for new shores!
If you have become interested, then please visit our web pagewww.timetoride.deor our Facebook pagewww.facebook.com/pages/Time-to-ride/115955945143396. There you can find lots of travel reports, pictures, videos and many interesting things more!
And only recently we have released our brand new “Twitter”-Account https://twitter.com/Time_to_Ride where we will keep you informed about our fantastic journey as well!
Cheers from rainy Melbourne

Bye, bye Australia!
As our time in Australia is nearly over, we wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all Austrailan bikers!
Thank you for your great tips and advices and thank you for all your kind offers to give us a roof over our head for a couple of days. We so really, really appreciate this!
Unfortunately it was impossible for us to meet all of you as Australia is a huge country and after 1 ½ years of traveling, we still haven´t seen all of it yet.
(That´s actually a really good reason to come back some day! )
We are in Brisbane right now where we´ll celebrate Christmas before we fly over to Auckland in a couple of days.
Our bikes are at the port already, waiting for their ship to New Zealand.
If everything goes well we´ll be back on the road in NZ at the beginning of January where another part of our journey begins.
If you want to follow our travel – we have still plenty of countries left to go - please visit our web page www.TimetoRide.de which is now available in English as well as in German and other languages.
And also have a look at our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Time-to-ride/115955945143396 for the latest pictures and news.
Once again, thank you for your great support while visiting your beautiful country!
Cheers
Bea & Helle

Hello all together,
Our new travel report „The Rock“ is about THE ONE rock in Australia.
Of course there are plenty of travel reports and pictures about the Uluru but of course, as soon as we arrived there, dark clouds have been risen from the horizon… but that´s not always a bad sign!
What we exactly experienced in the heart of Australia you can read here:
Australien 21 - The Rock! - TimetoRide - Auf Motorrad-Weltreise mit Bea & Helle
(Please select English Language at the right hand side of the web page!)
Cheers

Dear family, friends and “follower”,
even if we have absolutely no Christmas feeling – maybe it´s because its 30 degree hot here in Australia and the sun is burning from the sky – we want to use the opportunity to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!
Enjoy the coming days with your loved ones!
Yours
Bea & Helle

Hello everybody!
Our new travel report „Next turning two days ahead!” is about the unbelievable message on our navi that our next turn will be in 576 km.
Furthermore we are struggling with the extreme heat in the Australian Outback and Bea lost her snack to a sneaky bird.
Click here to find out what exactly was going on:
http://www.timetoride.de/2013/12/27/australien-22-nächste-abbiegung-zwei-tage-voraus/
Furthermore we have a new photo album with a selection of our shots from our travel report “The Rock” online on our Facebook page.

In our new travel blog "contact difficulties" it´s all about Bea´s "Dicke Rosi" being a bit stubborn and our unexpected meet up with Santa Clause and his followers.
If you want to know more about what happened, just click here: Australien 23 - Kontaktschwierigkeiten - Time to Ride - Auf Motorrad-Weltreise mit Bea und Helle
After a long 14 day separation from our bikes it was finally time for our reunion.
Thanks to the unbelievable helpful staff from the biosecurity and the Auckland port security we´ve been able to get our bikes back just before the weekend.
Yeha!!! :-)
It´s been our first day on the road and New Zealand showed its best sides already.
Wonderful summer weather, fantastic winding gravel road through secluded landscapes and a breathtaking view over the coast.
That definitely makes the heart of every motorcycle traveler beat faster!
:-)
