Hallo Bea & Helle, und herzlich willkommen im HUBB . You have put up a nice website. I'll be following closely, especially, since you will be going partly opposite of my planned route for 2012.
Save travels,

Hallo Ihr 2 - hi there the 2 of you!
Great plan! Too bad that you did not include Japan.
Would have been on your way to kangaroo country - well
at least more or less.
Anyway, looking forward to hearing and seeing more from you,
take care and safe riding,
a former North-North-Bavarian (Bad Brueckenau)

Hello to everybody!
@Sara & Daniel:
Wow, thank you very much for your invitation! We will contact you, when we know, when we arrive in North America and then, maybe we can visit you in your home or on the street! We are looking forward to it!
@Knight of the Holy Graal:
Thank your for your good wishes!
@Thomas:
Thank you for your compliments regarding our HP! Your 2008er trip sounds great! But 11.000 miles (das sind über 17.000 km, Wahnsinn!) in 22 days sounds very hard! It's a pity that you start riding home not until 2012, otherwise we would certainly meet us on the road!
@Klaus:
Hello to a former Lower Franconia! Hm... maybe we will visit Japan it depending on if we get a Container for our Motos from Vladiwostok to Bangkok. When not, we´ll take the ferry to Japan and get a Container in Tokyo - that´s at least our current plan!
Many greetings from Upper Bavaria!
Bea & Helle

Hello Bea and Helle. I'm heading up to Alaska from the central US in Mid-June of 2012. Will travel up through Vancouver and eventually to the Arctic Ocean in Alaska. If you stay on schedule, we may meet up along the way. Keep in touch. Love your website.

Hello!
@ nigel_tailyour:
Thank you for the flowers! (this is a German saying, we are not sure, if you use it in English too, but we try it :confused1
@ GSARiderOne:
No, “unfortunately” we are absolutely not in time! Now we are in South East Asia for around 3 month and we are still in the North of Asia. First we planned about 3 month for whole South East Asia! :-)
And first we also planned to stay “only” for around 6 month in Australia but now we decided to stay there maybe for 1 year to travel and to work there to increase our travel fund a little! :-)
But we wish you a very nice travel next year and a lot of great experiences!
And, maybe, we´ll meet us in some other place “on the road”! :-)
Many greetings
Bea & Helle

After 10 month “On the Road” we finally finished the second stage on our motorcycle world trip!
The last months we spend travelling back and forth through trough Southeast Asia and we really enjoyed the time here! We enjoyed relaxed times on the beaches in Thailand, visited the famous temples from Angkor Wat in Cambodia, traveled through the very laid back Laos, enjoyed the smooth roads in Malaysia, spent two days in Singapore (unfortunately without the bikes, too expensive to go to Singapore with it… ) and had an absolutely adventurous time travelling trough Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
But now it´s time to say goodbye to Southeast Asia. After 8 days cleaning our bikes and our equipment with the tooth brush (!!) (thank´s to the Australian quarantine requirements) they are finally in the container!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
