Amazone-crossing: Peru to Venezuela
Hai,
To avoid colombia and still get to the white beach of Venezuela, I planned a route from Peru (Cuzco) via Manaus (Brazil) to Venezuela. (around feb/march)
On the map it looks like a good road, exept the first few Km's.
Pure luck led me to find the same route, but then the other way, in the "Adventure Motocycle book" from mr Scott. He describe's it as "sub-darien" :-(
So... I have a nasty choice to make:
Face the Brazil-jungle or face the Colombian-Bandit's.
What shall I do ? Anyone traveled this road ?
Maarten
PS: oeps... just found out that march is the month with the most rain, in that case I can awnser the question myself, but.. I gues I can hang around Auztralie a bit longer and be in Brazil around jun.
But.. then still the same question.
