Aah! Bellagio! What a spot! Very romantic, was there with my girlfriend (now my wife) in 2009.

Be aware that the last bit of the road to Bellagio takes forever (especially if its dark and raining!).

With 5 days to get there from Zeebrugge you've got a little time to play with. Get ye to the alps and ride some of the alpine passes. They are fantastic. I'd head along to the eastern end as far as you can get (as far as Bled in Slovenia if you have time) then work back. I can't remember specific road names I'm afraid but if you find the squiggly lines on the map, you can't go wrong! The road that passes over the mountains from Cortina to Canazei and the Stelvio National Park are amazing. For me a good part of the fun is simply looking at the map and deciding which one of the alpine roads I'm going to take from A to B. You can then head further west from Como and pop up into France through the Mont Blanc tunnel (expensive but amazing if you like engineering).

Don't believe the timings on google earth/gps software for alpine roads. They are way off! (Sometimes by a factor of 4!)

Have fun!

Matt

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
