Distance and Time
Hi,
We are planning an overland trip in 2006. The first leg of the trip will definitly be Africa. Thus far the HUBB has provided us an enormous amount of information, however we are a bit unsure if this is possible:
Africa, north to south, in 6 monthes
Asia, East (japan/vladivostok) to west (back to Europe via the stans) in another 6 months.
I know you can spend years in africa, but it seems a lot of people have done it in 6 months without over-rushing themselves. I'm not sure about the Asia part though (including the time to ship the car from Africa to Japan).
Another unknown parameter for us is the distance we would be covering? Anybody got any figures how many kilometer aprox. it takes to cross Africa and how many for Asia?
Thanks a lot!
Frederik
