Ferries to Egypt
Any one know of good ferry routes into Egypt. I will be coming from the UK and don't want to do the Turkey Syria Jordan overland route given the Iraq situation, and I am not sure if I can get a visa for Libya which would be the other alternative.
Cheers
David

Hi David
At the moment there is no ferry from Cyprus or Greece to Egyt. Salamis has suspended its service. The ferry from Aqaba (Jordan) to Nuweiba (Egypt) is working.

hey rider
i think you can take a ferry from greece to cypris then to ilat in israel and then you ride cross the borders to egypt ,but you must check ferry lines in greece, and like that you cant get in syria or most of arab countries cause of your israeli, stamp on your passport.
i'm in egypt if you need any help or any other informations,
BY THE WAY TURKEY and syria is one of the good countries to ride, and i dont think it will be that hard even if the crazy war is on,you can just put a sign no for war ,u.s.a prisident is ------- and every one will be happy to see you in mid.east, haha i realy mean it
when you gonna start your trip??

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
