Gent Belgium to Greece
Guys just dreaming up next years holidays....
Time frame around 2 weeks.
Ride from Belgium to Greece via Italy or down the Croatian coast, about 1 week then meet the wife in Greece for a weeks beach holiday.
1.Can anyone recommend the "perfect" place to stay, rural quite beautiful landscape with perfect beaches not too many tourists.
2. Easy way to get my bike home if I would fly, maybe by truck or ride back to Italy and put it on a train....
3. How far can you ride in a week Yamaha Ténéré 600
Many thanks Matt

Matt,
I think one week is a very short time for the type of traveling you want to do from Belgium to Greece.
You won't be seeing much.
However if you really want to do it I would drive straight to Slovenia as fast as I can than take my time going down the Crotian coast all the way to Greece.

Fly to a largish Greek island and hire a bike. I think you will enjoy your holiday more that way.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
