Suggests for good camping at Keszthely, Hu, Dubrovnik and between Zadar and
My earlier post on finding a campsite/ hostel in the middle of Berlin also remined me to ask if anyone knows of any good campsites on the rest of my journey.
a) Keszthely on Lake Balaton in Hungary. Looks like there are a lot of campsites and accomadation. Anywhere that is a good bikers spot or has lovely views?
b) Dubrovnik - don't wnat to stay in city. would like a nice campsite hopfully by the sea or in the mountains, no more thatn 20 miles away.
c) will be travelling from Dubrovnik to somewhere between Zadar and Senj in one day up the Croatia coast road, so I guess I will be a bit tired and fed up. would like a nice quiet campsite, good view, dancing donkeys would get an A*
Any experience you have of eve3n close to here would be wonderfully recieved.
cheers
Dave

There's a cosy little campsite at Trsteno, 10 kays north of Dubrovnik (N42 42.821 E17 58.627).
Just north of Zadar there is a fairly big campsite at Zaton Holiday Village, but nice and clean (N44 13.716 E15 10.152).

Camping
Hi, camping in Hungary try Route66 Biker Camp. Dubrovnik, there is a small campsite only a few miles North which is at the waters edge, it's not great but very handy for visiting Dubrovnik. Andy

They're everywhere
There are camp sites all along the north shore of Balaton, they all look neat and well ordered. I stayed in a B&B in Balatonaklai which was next to a decent sized camp site. This was well postioned for exploring the area as it's about halfway down the lake.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
