Hi Fast103,

I was just at Mario's shop in San Salvador, El Salvador last week and he has Heidenau tires that will fit F650GS. His shop, Motorider, has a facebook page, but I am not on Facebook so can't access to find the address.

Others may know more.

Kindest regards,
John Downs

Where are you staying?

There's a BMW shop in Mexico City and another in San Jose, Costa Rica. I'm sure they can both help.

if you can make it to Medellin (Colombia), tyres are very cheap there. Best prices I have seen during our RTW last year.
Tyres for bigger bikes (like your GS) will be on stock, multiple brands.

Thanks any idea who has Heidenau's in Medellin. BMW in Guatemala City is sold out. Some in Cost rica but they are closed from Dec 21 to Jan 2. I need to be in Panama on Dec 30. Do not really want to ride back to Panama as I have a boat to catch.
I' m also thinking that my friend who is meeting me in Panama bring them from England. Anyone have advice on that?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
