Not so easy
Did you had any luck yet? There are plenty of 2nd hand motorcycle web sites... with google translate you should be able to navigate them. However, to buy a motorbike in SE-Asia you will need a registered address, that's not possible on tourist visa. But maybe the per-owner or an other local can lend you his ID... should not be a problem. In Indonesia it is common to keep the motorcycle registered on the pre-owner till tax/registration is expired. You get couple of blank invoices to re-sell. Same should be possible in Thailand or Malaysia. Thailand should be easy to find 250cc upwards, however, language is big issue. Look into renting one... you should be able to make a deal for a e.g. CRF250L for 1k-1.5k US for 4 months. Plenty of rental online in Thailand. Good Luck!
